This is our Faith space.
This is just a space for our family to list things that are important to our faith and walking it out in our daily activities. We may update this page regularly, or it may sit fallow for awhile. Feel free to send us comments and ideas. We may share your content on our sit. No content will be shared without review, and no user will be noted, unless requested.
The graphic to the left opens our families statement of faith. It is our attitudes and beliefs. The most important belief is how you deal with Jesus Christ, and is your relationship personal.

More on that in our faith site.
Part of our Faith is grounded in where we attend church.

Daily Reading Plan

Another project I have been working on is a Daily Reading Plan for the Bible. A Daily Reading Plan (DRP) should never replace daily devotions. I use a DRP to get more and more comfortable with the flow of scripture. I use daily devotions to walk closer with, and understand more about my Savior.
Anyway, I have had a number of favorite sites that have a tendancy to go away, and or change the format. I just wanted a consistent list of structured reading to walk through scripture on an annual basis. The banner below will take you to my work in progress. It is a DRP that covers a couple of different areas.
  • Chronological Bible In a Year
    • The chronological approach takes a standard view of the chronological occurrence of scripture. For those who have never looked at a chronological approach, it takes books and/or parts of books and attempts to read scripture from the creation of the earth (and space, time and matter) through to the end of days.
  • Bible in a Year
    • The Bible in a Year is what a lot of people are used to. It starts in Genesis and reads straight through to the book of Revelation. All books are read in order, which does NOT follow a chronological view.
  • Old and New Testament in a Year
    • The Old and New Testament seems to be the most well known DRP. It starts in both the Old Testament and the New Testament and reads through them both, at the same time.
  • Old Testament in a Year
    • The Old Testament in a Year is what it sounds like. You read just the old testament and focus on it for a year.
  • New Testament in a Year
    • Yep - same thing with the New Testament. One year just focused on the New Testament. This is what my Grandfather often did.
  • Psalms Monthly
    • This basically has three lists. A list for a 31 day month. A list for a 30 day month. A list for a 28 day month. Sorry, no leap year.
  • Proverbs Monthly
    • As you probably guessed, just like the Psalms.
And here is the link to the daily reading plans.
